At Frederick Presbyterian Church, we live the Word of Christ through our actions. Our church maintains a number of programs that allow the congregation to carry out God's commandments. These programs include:

* Music ministry, including Chancel Choir, Adult Handbells, Youth Musician Ensemble (Grades 6-12), Praise Musicians (Grades 3-5), Celebration Singers (Grades K-2)

* A variety of other forms of worship through the expression of fine art.

* Youth Ministry including acolytes, youth activities, and Sunday School.

Frederick Presbyterian Church is part of the Presbytery of Baltimore in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)

Presbyterians trace their history to the 16th century and the Protestant Reformation. Our heritage, and much of what we believe, began with John Calvin (1509-1564), whose writings crystallized much of the Reformed thinking that came before him.
