Annual Congregational meeting, Sunday, February 1, immediately after Worship. We’ll start with lunch! There will be time for questions about FPC’s 2025 annual report and our budget for 2026. We’ll also consider the terms for our pastor and hear a report from the Nominating Committee.
Sunday School at FPC – There’s something for everyone! Classes begin at 9:30 am. We offer classes for children ages 3 and older and for youth thorough grade 12. And we have three options for adults: The Wired Word (led by FPC congregants), Bible Study for All (led by Rev. Judy Johnson), and a Gathering for Young Adults (facilitated by Pastor Eric). Nursery care is available for young children up to 2 years. Sunday School classes resume on January 4th.
FPC collects contributions for the Frederick Food Bank on the first Sunday of every month. With so many families facing food insecurity, the current need is especially dire. Please contribute what you can. Currently, there is a special need for canned proteins (tuna, chicken, fish) and single-serving snacks for kids. The food bank also provides clients with shelf-stable milk (cow’s milk, soy, almond), canned vegetables and fruits, and hygiene items. THANK YOU.
FPC’s youth will hold a babysitting fundraiser on Saturday, February 7, from 4:00 until 7:00 pm. Kids will enjoy dinner and play games with our youth and youth leaders. Contact Ashley (youth@frederickpresbyterian.org) to register. $40 for the first child in a family and just $10 for additional siblings! Proceeds will help support the annual youth summer service trip.
