The funeral, otherwise known as a Service of Worship in Witness to the Resurrection, proclaims the central doctrine of the Christian faith: the resurrection of Christ and what that means for us. Most often, funerals of church members are held in the sanctuary. It is important to notify the pastor at the time of death. Individuals are encouraged to give some forethought to their own arrangements by consulting the pastor and/or reviewing the attached document.
